This May, the gallery proudly unveils the Exhibition of the Year — a rare and long-awaited tribute to the iconic master of modern Greek painting, Theodoros Manolidis.

Born in Athens in 1940, Manolidis studied under Yannis Moralis at the Athens School of Fine Arts and continued at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. His style fuses surrealism with Byzantine mysticism, creating dramatic scenographic effects and optical illusions. His work has been widely exhibited and auctioned by Christie’s and Sotheby’s.

Founded in 1925, Tsantilis Art Gallery is one of Greece’s most historic and trusted art institutions. Nestled in the heart of Kolonaki, it is acclaimed by TV5, Tatler, Vogue UK, Athens Art Scene, and the Louis Vuitton Travel Guide as “the finest gallery in Greece” and a cultural landmark of international distinction.
